Car strikes Milwaukee squad, injures 2 officers

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Two Milwaukee police officers are hurt after a car struck their squad car.

Police say a man ran a stop sign and hit the officers’ marked squad car at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Both officers were taken to a hospital for evaluation. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The officers are assigned to the Neighborhood Task Force. Milwaukee police are investigating.
