Career exploration opportunities available for first-time job seekers in La Crosse

Registration available on the Workforce Development Board website

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Kids and young adults in our area can get career experience at an upcoming program.

E-3 Works is a chance for people 16 to 24 years old to gain first time job experience.

Opportunities in manufacturing, information technology, construction, transportation and health care will be part of the program.

Financial assistance for transportation, work clothing and housing will be available for the six-week program.

It can help job seekers learn what works for them and what doesn’t.

“It really is to give them some work experience but really then to help them get some additional insight of what it means to work in that industry and to help thme along their way,” said Melisa Meyers, Workforce Development Board executive director.

Registration for the program is open on the Workforce Development Board’s website.
