Cases climb as Trempealeau, Buffalo and Winona Counties now have high levels of COVID-19 spread
There are 1,556 new COVID-19 cases Friday in Wisconsin
UNDATED (WKBT) – There are 1,556 new COVID-19 cases Friday in Wisconsin and one new death.
Vaccinators administered 5,470 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The CDC now says the level of virus spread in Trempealeau and Buffalo counties are now at a high level.
They join Eau Claire, Chippewa and Pepin counties which already fell under the category.
La Crosse, Monroe and Jackson counties remain at substantial levels of spread.
And in Minnesota, Winona County now has high levels of spread.
It joins Houston County was listed at high level of transmission Thursday.
