Central Football reclaims Ark over Logan
Central Football reclaimed the prized Ark of Victory Friday night at UW-La Crosse with a 42-20 win over foe Logan.
“I just had a really good feeling ever since I woke up, drove to school, rode the bus here, I just had a super good feeling that we’re going to bring it home,” said receiver Jackson Warren.
The RiverHawks avenged a 20-10 loss last spring to the Rangers during the alternate football season
“That’s just the worst feeling we’ve had really, to lose that and leave our seniors like that, that was horrible,” quarterback Mason Herlitzke said. “That feeling’s been with us for six months and we had to wait all this time to week nine to prove that we got it done.”
Central now leads the all-time series 48-40-7.
