Central season preview

LA CROSSE, Wis. — The Central Red Raiders are ready to run.

Central welcomes a transfer from Monona Grove, Lamont Murphy. Plus, Mitchell Johnson and Ben Thornton return.

“We look like we have a lot of fire this year. That’s one of the things we lacked last year, not as much enthusiasm,” Thornton said. “We’ve got a lot of resilience, we’ve got a chip on our shoulder from last year.  So, we want to come out on fire and be better than last year. That’s our goal.”
