Chance of More Snow Showers After Midnight -Bill Graul
Unseasonably Cold Tonight & This Weekend
WHAT WE’RE TRACKING:
A weak disturbance will bring the chance for more snow showers or flurries after midnight and into part of Saturday. Just minor if any snow accumulations are expected, but watch for some slick spots on the roads Saturday morning… just in case.
REMAINING UNSEASONABLY COLD:
Low temps tonight will be in the teens, but blustery SW winds 10-25 mph will cause wind chills in the single digits. Wind prone areas could even dip into the -0s. Continued unseasonably cold on Saturday with highs only in the 17-22F range. This would be cold for an overnight low this time of year. Blustery NW winds 10-30 mph will keep wind chills in the single digits, with -0s expected for many areas by Saturday evening and into Saturday night.
Still breezy Sunday, but not quite as cold with highs in the low 30s with partly sunny skies.
LOOKING AHEAD:
Still chilly Monday with highs in the low 30s, then a bit warmer Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the upper 30s to near 40F. As of now, just a slight chance of light snow or light mix on Thanksgiving, with a slight chance of light snow showers or flurries Friday and Saturday. We will of course keep a close eye on the forecast around Thanksgiving, so stay tuned for updates heading into next week.
In the meantime, stay warm and have a good weekend! -Meteorologist Bill Graul
