Chance of Rain for Some Tonight into Tuesday Morning -Bill Graul
Warmer Temps by Mother's Day Weekend
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 45F / Tuesday’s Forecast High: 58F…
Probably no surprise to most of you, but this past month of April was much cooler than average and a bit drier than average at the La Crosse airport. It was also quite windy!
After a cloudy and cool day, clouds persist tonight with seasonable lows ranging from the upper 30s (north/east) to the mid 40s. A disturbance tracking by to our south will bring a chance of rain showers tonight, mainly over the southern half of the viewing area.
Chance of showers lingers into Tuesday morning, once again especially south. Partial clearing possible later Tuesday afternoon, so we may see some peeks of sun before it sets Tuesday evening. High temps Tuesday will range from 52-58F, with the coolest readings south where the rain chances will be greater. Partly cloudy and warmer Wednesday with highs in the low-mid 60s… making for a fairly pleasant day.
Looking Ahead… Low end rain chances Thursday, especially south… with isolated showers possible Friday. Highs both days will be in the low-mid 60s. Warmer for Mother’s Day weekend, with highs in the upper 60s Saturday… then upper 60s to low 70s on Mother’s Day. Both days look dry at this point, although rather breezy for Mom on Sunday.
Much warmer to start next week, with highs Monday and Tuesday well into the 70s. Small chance of t-showers on Monday and rather windy as well. Have a good Monday night! -Bill Graul
