Change.org petition seeks to make some changes to Oktoberfest
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — A newly created petition on Change.org seeks to make some changes to La Crosse’s Oktoberfest.
The petition asks for the following five changes:
- Move the UW-L Alumni Band to the end of the parade
- Allow up to 200 parade entries
- Bring back the 2 carnivals
- Bring back the cash option for payment
- Bring back more food vendors
2022’s Maple Leaf Parade allowed up to 100 entries. The petition’s goal was to get 100 signatures. It surpassed that goal Friday morning.
