Chelsea Clinton to campaign in La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The presidential campaign trail will swing through La Crosse next week.
Chelsea Clinton will hold an event at UW-La Crosse’s Cleary Center next Tuesday morning around 11.
Doors will open at 10:15
She’ll also campaign in Stevens Point and Madison on the same day.
This will be the first public event in La Crosse from either of the presidential campaigns since the primary in August.
Both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump held rallies in La Crosse during their primary campaigns, and Trump came back to town in August to attend a private fundraiser.
Trump’s running mate, Mike Pence, also held a rally at UWL right after the state’s primary.
