Children’s Museum of La Crosse to host “Adult Recess: Say Cheese” event

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The Children’s Museum of La Crosse wants you to get in touch with your inner child.

The museum is hosting what called an “Adult Recess” Thursday night.

The night is titled “Say Cheese.” People will get a chance to improve their photography skills with different workshops, all while sampling different kinds of cheese. There will also be live music and drinks.

Organizers say the night is way for people to enjoy the museum without their kids.

“Studies show that everyone benefits from play, and being, creative and having just some unstructured and enjoyable time. Even adults are more productive at work, more creative, and happier when they can just relax and play sometimes,” said Leanne Poellinger.

The event runs from 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. at the Children’s Museum.
