Children’s Museum rings in 2020 with a Countdown to ‘Noon’
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The Children’s Museum of La Crosse is hosting a New Years event for people of all ages to enjoy.
The Happy “Noon” Year celebration starts the party a little early on Tuesday.
Families can play with noisemakers, party hats, and countdown to a balloon drop at Noon by stomping bubble wrap.
The Children’s Museum brings the countdown back every year because of its popularity with the community.
Program Coordinator for the Children’s Museum, Jaclyn Freeberg says,”It’s nice for the adults because kids can celebrate New Years as well, without having to stay up until midnight. It’s nice for the parents because they can celebrate as a family and then go out and do their own thing. Or maybe if they’re not able to go out or they have to work at night they can still have that nice holiday celebration with them in a safe, fun environment.”
Happy “Noon” Year starts at 10 a.m. and ends after the countdown to Noon. The event is free for members and regular admission price for all others.
