Church roof collapses, community jumps into action
OSSEO, Wis. — Because church activities were canceled ahead of a winter storm, no one was injured when the roof of an area church collapsed today.
The incident happened in the Sunday School wing of the Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church.
The Osseo Fire Department and area volunteers came to the rescue to help the congregation. They helped to clear more snow off the roof, remove items from inside and bring food to share.
