Cierra Leigh (Schiffler) Strametz
Cierra Leigh (Schiffler) Strametz, age 23, of Gays Mills, and formerly of Chaseberg, passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 21st, 2019.
She was born on August 23rd, 1996 to Danny & Jackie (Robertson) Schiffler at Gunderson Lutheran in La Crosse. She was baptized and confirmed at the Retreat United Methodist Church. She attended and graduated from Westby High School in 2014. On June 1st, 2019 she married the love of her life Randall Strametz in Wisconsin Dells. Cierra had a passion for taking care of people and loved working for Mystic Acres Group Home and was planning on opening a group home of her own this year. She had a love of music and theatre and was in a few plays in school. She enjoyed Disney movies singing along with the music, as well as Harry Potter. She especially loved Christmas and Halloween. She will be missed greatly by all.
She is survived by her loving husband & forever soulmate, Randall Strametz, her mother Jackie Schiffler, brother Garrett Schiffler, maternal grandparents Gary & Alma Robertson, paternal uncle Donnie Schiffler, a grandfather-in-law Richard Wickard, as well as many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Danny Schiffler, paternal uncle David Schiffler, as well as other family and friends. The shining light in our lives is now a shining star in the sky…
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 26th at 11 a.m. at the Thorson Funeral Home in Viroqua with Pastor Pam Harkema officiating. Family and friends may call on Monday, November 25th from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home, and again from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Burial will take place at a later date.
