City council discusses La Crosse Police sergeant’s future after arrest
Alan Iverson accused of threatening to kill wife
LA CROSSE, Wis. — The city of La Crosse is deciding on the status of a police officer who threatened to kill his wife.
In a special city council meeting Tuesday night that went into closed session, city officials adopted what’s called a “separation agreement” for La Crosse Police Sergeant Alan Iverson.
The details of the agreement aren’t being released.
Iverson was arrested in February after his wife said he threatened to shoot her, their kids, and himself after she asked for a divorce.
The city attorney says Iverson remains on paid administrative leave from the department.
