Clark County authorities search for missing woman

NEILLSVILLE, Wis. (WKBT) — The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for Cassandra Ayon nearly a month after she was reported missing.
Ayon, 27, was reported missing by her parents at 12:39 p.m. Oct. 4, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators determined that she was last seen around 3:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, in the Unity, Wis., area when she left a friend’s home. She has not been home or seen since that time, according to authorities. Ayon drives a black 2015 Chevy Impala with Wisconsin license plate of AHZ-2509.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office, in addition the Wisconsin, Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation, Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory, and the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office are investigating Cassandra’s disappearance. Law enforcement are investigating all leads, multiple searches have been ongoing, and investigative follow-up is ongoing.
