Clarke College plans $13M science facility
DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) — Clarke College in Dubuque has announced plans to build a $13 million science facility to meet the demands of increasing enrollment.
The Telegraph Herald reported the three-story 46,000-square-foot building will be funded by donations, bonds and revenue. A groundbreaking for the new facility will be held next spring with the building opening in the fall of 2013.
Carolyn Haupert, chairwoman of the Clarke Board of Trustees, says the college’s enrollment in science and health services has grown dramatically in the past 10 to 15 years.
