Cloudy Tonight With Scattered Light Rain Showers -Bill Graul
Slight Chance Of Showers Wednesday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 62F / Wednesday’s Forecast High: 77F…
A disturbance is lifting north/northeast towards our area, bringing clouds and periods of scattered light rain showers this evening and overnight. There could be an isolated rumble of thunder in spots tonight as well. Don’t expect a drought buster with this system, as rainfall will be quite light. In fact, through 6:00 Tuesday evening… only .02″ of rain had fallen at the La Crosse airport. The clouds will keep temps on the mild side tonight, with lows in the 57-62F range for most.
Keep the rain gear handy on Wednesday, although much of the day could be dry for many areas. There’s just a slight chance of showers and isolated thunder during the day, then rain chances increase a bit late in the day and into Wednesday night. Highs on Wednesday will be in the mid-upper 70s for most.
Rain chances increase for Thursday and Friday… with the chance for periodic showers and some t-storms as well. Otherwise, expect more clouds than sun both days… with highs in the mid-upper 70s to near 80F.
Looking Ahead… Warmer and more humid for the weekend, with highs in the low-mid 80s. Just isolated t-storms possible Saturday, then a bit better chance for scattered showers and storms Sunday.
Still warm next Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the low-mid 80s. Slight chance of showers and t-storms Monday, then just isolated storms possible Tuesday. Next Wednesday looks dry and cooler, with highs in the low-mid 70s.
Have a great Tuesday night! -Bill Graul
