Community members hear inspiring stories at Women’s Fund Luncheon
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — The Women’s Fund Luncheon is back.
Community members heard stories from women in leadership working in our community.
The event is about more than just inspiring stories.
The Women’s Fund of Greater La Crosse kicked off their fundraising season Tuesday and members say that the luncheon is a way to inspire women to be a helper in their community.
“This is a great opportunity for them to have all of that and to learn and be inspired and to go out into the community and do more,” said Sarah Ellingson, executive director of the Women’s Fund of Greater La Crosse.
Since it began, the Women’s Fund has helped raise thousands of dollars for community programs.
