Community Thanksgiving Dinner preparations underway in Galesville

Preparations are underway for the 12th annual Thanksgiving dinner in Galesville.

The community meal serves about four-hundred people every year.

The event is organized by six women, along with lots of community volunteers.

Dinner committee members say the meal makes everyone in attendance into a big family.

“It is open to anybody in the Galesville, Ettrick, Trempealeau community and if you have family visiting from out of state or out of these communities, bring them along, we’d love to have them,” said Marilyn Heinz, Committee Member for the G-E-T Community Thanksgiving.

The meal will be served at G-E-T Middle School.

However, home delivery is available for people in the Galesville area.

People interested should call 608-738-3920.
