Concealed carry law means more business for local company
4092566LA CROSSE, Wis. — Wisconsin is becoming the 49th state to allow concealed weapons in public. The new law means some extra business for least one local company.
Sign Pro in La Crosse has taken several requests for signs prohibiting weapons. Under the law, businesses are allowed to ban weapons in their building by posting a sign at the door.
Sign Pro has received requests from local hospitals and universities as well as private businesses.
“Some companies are only doing the legal minimum requirement to post and others really want to make sure that people understand not to bring weapons in,” says Jim Warsinske of Sign Pro.
The concealed carry law takes effect Tuesday.
