Cooler Tonight With Isolated Showers For Some -Bill Graul

Cooler Than Average Temps Tuesday & Wednesday

Tonight’s Forecast Low: 38F / Tuesday’s Forecast High: 46F…

An area of low pressure will sit nearly stationary to our north over the next 24-hours, near Duluth, MN. The counter-clockwise flow around the low will send clouds across our area tonight with a slight chance of rain showers or sprinkles, mainly across northern parts of the viewing area. Otherwise, it will be cooler tonight with lows mainly in the 30s.

The low will also pump cooler air into our area from the west/northwest, causing below average highs on Tuesday in the 40s. There will also be plenty of passing clouds, along with a small chance of light rain showers or sprinkles. Like tonight, the best rain chances will be north. Expect a rather blustery day Tuesday as well, with SW to W winds 10-20 mph and gusts around 25 mph possible. Mostly cloudy and continued cool Wednesday with highs in the upper 40s to near 50F.

Looking Ahead… Partly sunny and more seasonable Thursday and Friday. Highs will warm back into the mid 50s Thursday, then upper 50s on Friday. Mostly cloudy over the weekend, but Saturday is looking mainly dry at this point, with just a small chance (20%) of rain showers on Sunday. High temps will remain in the mid-upper 50s.

8 Day Build 3

Much of Monday will likely be dry, but a front will bring a chance of rain showers later in the day into Monday night. Expect highs Monday in the mid-upper 50s. Mostly to partly cloudy next Tuesday, with slightly cooler high temps in the low 50s.
