Correction to Willow Heights Development story

TOWN OF SHELBY, Wis. (WKBT) — We have a correction to make to a story published on News8000.com  Monday night. 

News8000.com incorrectly reported that La Crosse’s Planning Commission denied the preliminary layout for what’s known as the Willow Heights Development in the Town of Shelby.

We should’ve said the commission denied the preliminary layout for the Quarry subdivision, not Willow Heights. They are both in the former Irish Hills Golf Course area, but are not related.

According to developers, the layout for the Willow Heights development has already received final approval from the Town of Shelby and now goes before the county later this month.
