Coulee Region Race winners give back to Boys and Girls Club
LA CROSSE, Wis. — Two days after an amazing race throughout our area, the Coulee Region Race winners claim their prize.
Garrett Jerue and Rudy Nigl were the first team to finish ten tasks scattered throughout La Crosse, Onalaska, and Holmen.
15276224They were presented with their $3,000 check Monday at the Boys and Girls Club for being team number one. But the two wanted to give the club more than their original entry fee. “What I’m most happy about is to see how these two guys took cash, and most people their age would have taken the money and run, but these guys gave back to the boys and girls club,” says Executive Director Mike Desmond.
This was the third year of the Coulee Region Race.
