Counties Plan on Reopening

The Wisconsin Supreme Court decision put the power or reopening counties into the respective Health Department’s hands. Among La Crosse, nine other counties have chosen to reopen. Monroe, Vernon, Juneau, Trempealeau, Crawford, Eau Claire, Buffalo, Houston and Winona have declared a reopening. Crawford County has decided not to reopen government buildings and encourages their businesses to do the same. Winona is reopening per Minnesota and C-D-C guidelines, but will keep their library and recreational parks closed. Jackson County has  yet to decide on reopening. Many of the reopening counties have put out an announcement recommending guidelines set up by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
