As the pandemic continues, health officials want to debunk some myths surrounding the coronavirus
LA CROSSE, Wis (WKBT) – As the pandemic continues, health officials want to debunk some myths surrounding the coronavirus.
One common myth, that may become more prevalent soon, is that cold weather and snow can kill the coronavirus.
In fact, there is no scientific evidence to believe cold or warm weather can kill COVID-19 or other viruses.
Another myth is that the number of COVID-19 deaths is much lower and the disease is overblown.
But while someone may have had other diseases, the vast majority of these people could have lived much longer if they had not contracted COVID-19.
