LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Gundersen Health System says its current COVID-19 patients are generally younger and sicker than those in previous months.
The health system says the delta variant is driving new cases and hospitalizations especially among the unvaccinated.
The variant is believed to be two times more contagious than the original strain.
