COVID-19 prompts Onalaska church to cancel in-person services this weekend
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) — First Free Church in Onalaska is suspending in-person services this weekend because some staff members were exposed to an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19.
“Because of this, potentially all of our staff have been exposed,” Executive Pastor Mark Brockberg says on the church’s Facebook page. “Due to this, the most loving thing we can do to serve you and our community is to NOT have in-person services this weekend.”
The congregation still will provide online streams on its website, app, YouTube channel and Facebook page at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Brockberg wrote.
Effective Thursday, First Free Church onsite events and office hours are canceled until further notice, the pastor wrote.
