COVID-19 testing opened to any patient at Gundersen Health System
Testing comes at manufacturers are increasing test production
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Gundersen Health System is opening up COVID- 19 testing to any patient.
The expansion includes people with and without symptoms … as well as testing for travel or otherwise as it is needed.
Testing will be offered at any Gundersen location that currently offers the service.
Health leaders at Gundersen says the expansion will help as people look return to activities that they may have skipped during the pandemic.
“It’s been a big deal for people that want to travel. And obviously for a lot of travel locations, obviously internationally, PCR coronavirus testing is a requirement,” said Gundersen Health System Dr. Sean Agger, director of laboratories.
The expansion comes as test manufacturers have increased their production.
