COVID-19 vaccines available this week in La Crosse and Monroe County
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Weber Health will be accepting walk-ins Wednesday at its La Crosse clinic and the Monroe County Health Department has openings Wednesday and Thursday for COVID-19 vaccine appointments.
Weber Health will be administering the Pfizer vaccine from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at its clinic, located at 333 Front St. N. (the former Century Link building). Insurance is not required and there is no cost to the patient.
People aged 16 and older will be eligible. Minors will need a parent or guardian present to consent. More information is available at www.weber-health.com.
The Monroe County Health Department has appointments available for its COVID-19 vaccination clinics.
People can get an appointment between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Barney Center in Sparta or between 1 and 5 p.m. Thursday at Recreation Park in Tomah (the Monroe County Fairgrounds) to receive a free vaccine.
