CRHS trying to find homes for cats after increase in population
ONALASKA, WI — Are you the perfect family to take home a new cat this coming weekend?
The Coulee Region Humane Society is trying to find home for 25 cats as the organization is overwhelmed with the felines right now.
A spokesperson says the number of animals they care for this time of year increases dramatically.
Right now, they have 41 cats and 40 kittens ready to be adopted.
21028670“In January of 2013, we only saw an intake of 85 cats compared to over 130 cats this June and we’ve already seen 91 cats in July and the month is barely half over,” said Liz Meil.
Adopters are welcome at anytime, but this weekend you can name your own adoption fee for each cat. You can call the humane society at 781-4014 with any questions.
