Dad takes daughter trick-or-treating on flight

A man flying from Boston to San Francisco on Halloween helped his daughter go trick-or-treating on the flight, The Associated Press reports.

Stephanie Kahan, a woman on the same flight, told the Boston Globe that the father passed out notes and candy to the other passengers asking them to help. The note said his daughter Molly was dressed as a donut and was “bummed that she wouldn’t be able to go trick-or-treating.”

Kahan said the other passengers were happy to participate and called the experience “heart-warming.” Kahan’s tweet of the exchange went viral, racking up 70,000 shares by Tuesday morning. The father asked to remain anonymous.
