Dani Craig sets new program record for 3-pointers in UW-La Crosse win
Senior Dani Craig set a new program record for three-pointers and UW-La Crosse women’s basketball improved to 11-1 at home with a 71-56 win over UW-River Falls Wednesday night.
Craig went 4-for-6 from downtown to surpass the old record of 149 made three-pointers previously held by Rachel Atchison back in 2017. Craig now has 153 made threes for her career.
The Eagles finish the regular season Saturday at UW-Eau Claire. If they beat the Blugolds, the Eagles will clinch the two seed and a first round bye for next week’s WIAC Tournament.
