Deadline to register to vote by mail or online Wednesday
WISCONSIN (WKBT) — The November election is three weeks away.
However, Wednesday is the last day you can register to vote by mail or online.
If you’ve moved or changed your name, you’ll need to register again.
Wisconsin voters can register in-person on Election Day.
To register by mail, you’ll need to complete a voter registration application and mail it to the City Clerk, with a copy of your proof of residence included.
In order to register online, the La Crosse City Clerk’s Office says, “To register online, visit MyVote Wisconsin. You must have a valid Wisconsin driver license or Wisconsin ID, and your address on file with the DMV must match the address at which you are registering to vote. If the DMV does not have your current address on file, update your address on the DMV website before updating your voter registration at MyVote Wisconsin.”
