Dean R. Ferrie, 66, of Chester, IA, died on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at his home.

Dean was born December 7, 1955, to Raphael and Gladys (Frana) Ferrie. He married Ann Eichenberger in 1998. Dean had a love of carpentry and the outdoors.

Dean is survived by his wife, Ann; children, Jessica (Matt) Olson of Seattle, WA, and Russell Ferrie of Decorah, IA; step-children, Melissa (Bob) Junge of Cresco, IA, Jeremy (Britt) Mihm of LeRoy, MN; mother Gladys Ferrie of Harmony, MN; siblings, Kenny (Carol) Ferrie of Mora, MN, Kevin Ferrie of Chatfield, MN, Russell (Cindy) Ferrie of Cresco, and Roger (Kari) Ferrie of Cresco, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raphael; sisters Amy Ferrie and Nancy Dieter, and sister-in-law Deb Ferrie.
