DeAngelo M. Vigo-Dow

DeAngelo M. Vigo-Dow, 20, from Grand Meadow, MN, passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2022.

DeAngelo was born on September 19, 2001, in Rochester, MN. DeAngelo graduated in 2020 from Grand Meadow High School. He loved being active and had a passion for sports. He was a kind young man with a huge heart and a smile that would light up the room. He cared deeply for his family and friends and inspired others to do the same. DeAngelo recently worked for the Mayo Hospital. Although his sudden passing brings great sorrow, memories of DeAngelo will be forever in our hearts.

DeAngelo is survived by his parents, Diane Dow and Miguel Vigo Jr.; siblings Miguel Vigo III (Patricia), Danielle Dow and Theo Vigo-Dow (Finn); grandmother Paula Vigo; nieces Damaya Watkins and Kaylani Vigo; nephews Davonte Dow and Karter Vigo; aunt Laura and uncle Toby Reyes; cousins Andrea (Wes), Nick (Holly) and Marc Reyes; aunts Milagros Vigo and Carmen Ortiz; cousins Rachael Rivera, Milnely Vigo (Olivia), Camil Rivera and Angel Gonzalez; uncle Miguel Vigo II, and his loving girlfriend, Emily Hofner.

DeAngelo will be met in heaven by his grandmother, Dorothy Stormont; grandfathers Charles Dow and Miguel Vigo Sr.; uncles Eddie and Lester Vigo, and nephew Damarion Dow.

Funeral services for DeAngelo will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, at Cornerstone Church in Austin, MN, with Pastor David Simerson officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
