Death investigation underway after body found in La Crosse’s Cameron Park

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A death investigation is underway after a body was found in La Crosse’s Cameron Park. La Crosse Police were in the park mid-Sunday afternoon.

An official with the police department did not confirm whether the person was male or female. The official also would not confirm whether the death was drug-related. According to the official foul play is not a factor in the death.

This is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public. News 8 Now will update this story when more information is available. La Crosse Police officials said more information will be released Monday.
