Delayed Winona bridge construction set to start Monday
The construction on the County Road 17 bridge is expected to last through the week

WINONA, Minn. (WKBT) – A project to repair a bridge in Winona will begin Monday. The bridge rehabilitation project on Winona County Road 17 was delayed from last week due to forecasted low overnight temperatures.
The cold nights would hamper the placement and curing of the concrete patches, forcing a closure longer than planned. The lanes will be closed at eight tomorrow morning.
They will start 300 feet south of the TH 43 intersection near Minnesota State College Southeast. Traffic will flow to one side of the bridge at a time and limited to one lane in each direction during the project. The construction is expected to last through the week.
