Dogs hunt for Easter eggs at La Crosse’s Myrick Park
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Saturday afternoon, it was the dogs’ turn to have some Easter fun.
Local dog treat company, Wuffy, held an Easter egg hunt for our furry companions at Myrick Park.
Instead of chocolate, dogs searched for pet-friendly treats.
Some also got pictures with the Easter Bunny.
Wuffy’s co-founder Jaclyn Cardin says the free event sold out with about 80 four-legged friends registered.
Cardin says organizers stuffed more than 1,000 Easter eggs.
“There’s a lot of Easter events for kids, and we wanted to make sure we had one for dogs,” Cardin said. “So, this is all about the dogs getting out, to play with each other, socialize, meet the Easter Bunny, and of course, sniff out eggs full of free treats and great prizes.”
This is the second year of the event.
