DOJ sets up concealed carry website
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The state Justice Department has set up a public website with information about Wisconsin’s new concealed carry law.
The site links to rules that lay out permit requirements, applications and details about training requirements. It also provides a model training completion certificate for firearms instructors and lists out-of-state licenses that will be recognized in Wisconsin.
People can access the site at http://www.doj.state.wi.us/dles/cib/ConcealedCarry/ConcealedCarry.asp .
The concealed carry law goes into effect Nov. 1.
