Donation drive Thursday to benefit area flood victims
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Residents in our area have the chance to help local flood victims.
A monetary donation drive will start in the G.E.C.U. parking lot in downtown La Crosse Thursday morning at 6 a.m.
The drive will continue until 7 p.m.
Donations will also be accepted at the Fight the Flood flood relief concert at the south side Oktoberfest grounds in La Crosse starting at 11 a.m.
Every penny will help, as our community comes together to help flood victims in our area.
“We’ll have a tent here in their parking lot, just pull into their lot, drop off their money, we’re going to have huge hip waders, we want to fill the hip waders,” said Terry Bauer with Valley View Rotary.
