Doris E. (Richardson) Clark
Doris E. Clark, age 87, of Wauzeka passed away on Thursday October 3, 2019 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 19, 1931 in Basswood, WI the daughter of Myron and Anna Freeda (Hubanks) Richardson. Doris had a varied career history. She was the lead cook at Riverside Supper Club and a production worker at Advance Transformer for many years. Her last position prior to retirement was as a supervisor at a mental health hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. Doris was a single mother who raised five deeply devoted children. She took great pride in her expertise in the lost arts of knitting, embroidery, and crocheting. She especially enjoyed crocheting afghans for wedding and baby gifts. Doris was a fan of classic film noir and western movies, but most of all she loved to visit with her grandchildren. Doris is survived by her children, Margo (Steve) Belz of Madison, WI, Julie (Mike) Mullikin of Wauzeka, WI, Troy (Tami) Clark of Sturtevant, WI, Jim (Amy) Clark of Colby, WI, her sisters, Milda (Paul) Lacy, Jean (Carl) DeLaMater, Judy Cornwell, Cathy (David) Gregurich, a sister-in-law, Laurie Richardson, ten grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Dawn Clark, brothers Leroy, Jim and Jerry, sisters, Mavis Allen, Marie Edge, and Mary Lou Hayes.
