Downtown La Crosse aims to add more dog-friendly spaces

Downtown businesses will have a sticker indicating their participation

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Downtown La Crosse hopes to become more dog friendly.

Downtown Mainstreet will begin distributing dog-friendly stickers to downtown businesses, letting patrons know where they can bring their furry friends.

“One of the most popular amenities requested by residents in surveys is pet friendly spaces,” said Marissa Mundinger, Downtown Mainstreet’s events and promotions coordinator. “In response to these requests, we let the dogs out!”

All dog-friendly downtown businesses, whether restaurant parklets, retail stores or hotels, will be identified with stickers. The list is on at Downtown La Crosse’s  website.
