Dozens of Biden supporters gather at La Crosse Regional Airport
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Dozens of Biden supporters gathered at the La Crosse Regional Airport for the president’s arrival on Tuesday.
Air Force One touched down around lunch time before heading to the Municipal Transit Utility.
A school teacher from Whitehall says he heard about Biden’s visit this morning and couldn’t miss the opportunity to see him.
“To see him pass by is really something special,” school teacher Cory Stoutner said. “And being in America, being an American close to the 4th of July weekend, celebrating Independence Day. What a better way to celebrate Independence Day than to see the President of the United States in La Crosse, Wisconsin.”
Every sitting president since 1992 has made a trip to La Crosse at least once.
