Dozens of fans have been standing in line outside Lambeau Field for hours in frigid weather for a chance to celebrate Donald Driver’s retirement next week.
Free tickets to Driver’s retirement ceremony Feb. 6 are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Green Bay Packers’ ticket office beginning at 9 a.m. Friday.
With temperatures in the single digits, about 200 people lined up outside Lambeau early Friday. WLUK-TV says some fans have been in line since 10 p.m. Thursday.
One man, with ice in his beard and his drink frozen, said he hoped to score some tickets for his mother because she really wanted to attend the ceremony. The Packers say 1,000 tickets are available. Each fan can get up to four tickets.
