Numerous reports of high winds (50-70 mph gusts) and/or wind damage from the strong to severe storms that impacted our area Saturday afternoon and night. Also, one tornado has been confirmed so far in Houston County, MN.
It was a much calmer Sunday and it’s going to be a pleasant Sunday night. In fact, windows open night tonight with comfortable lows in the 47-57F range, with low humidity. Clear to partly cloudy skies with decreasing winds into the 5-10 mph range.
Nice summer day on Monday with highs in the mid 70s to around 80F, with low humidity. Expect sunny to partly cloudy skies with lighter west winds around 5-10 mph. Isolated showers and t-storms possible later Tuesday, Tuesday night and perhaps lingering into Wednesday. Highs both days will be in the low 80s.
Looking Ahead… Dry and pleasant Thursday and Friday with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the mid-upper 50s. Still looks dry for next weekend, with more seasonable highs in the mid 80s. Slight chance of showers and t-storms next Monday with highs well into the 80s.
