A strong area of low pressure will track by well to our northwest on Wednesday. It will drag a couple frontal boundaries across the region, resulting in scattered showers throughout the day… perhaps a few t-storms for some. There could even be a few strong storms with gusty winds. Speaking of, expect SE winds to increase into the 10-20 mph range… with gusts to 35-40 mph possible, especially north and west. Highs on Wednesday will be in the low-mid 60s.

Partly cloudy and seasonable on Thursday, with highs in the low-mid 60s. Another system could bring a slight chance of showers on Friday… with cooler highs in the mid 50s to around 60F.

Looking Ahead… Partly cloudy and breezy Saturday, with highs around 60F. Mostly sunny and pleasant Sunday, with highs in the mid 60s. Overnight lows Friday and Saturday nights will likely dip close to 40F in the La Crosse area… with 30s expected in traditional cooler areas.
