Earth Fair wraps up Earth Week in La Crosse
Event included petting zoo, live music, farmer's market
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — It was all fun and games for families at Myrick Park on Sunday.
The Earth Fair brought family activities and learning to one place.
The event is hosted by the Coulee Partners for Sustainability, La Crosse Public Library, La Crosse Area Family YMCA, and the Earth Fair Committee. All of the fun at the fair included a petting zoo, live music, a farmer’s market, and more.
Organizers say that educating people about local resources is always important.
“We’re just celebrating the local culture, basically getting as many local vendors as possible so that people can know what all is going on in this area and what resources are available to them,” said Earth Fair Co-Chair Erica Black.
About 2,000 people attended the 7th annual Earth Fair.
