Emergency water main repair causing lane closures on busy La Crosse road
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — South Ave. near 15th Street in La Crosse is restricted to one lane in both directions.
The disruption is so crews can do an emergency water main repair.
The construction is expected to last through Monday’s rush hour and possibly into tomorrow.
The city’s utilities department is asking drivers to avoid the area if possible.
Crews will be working close to the open lanes of traffic so slow down and expect delays if you do travel through that area.
