Ex-Iowa principal faces Nov. sentencing for porn

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — A former Iowa elementary school principal who pleaded guilty to secretly videotaping male students in the bathroom is to be sentenced next month.

Forty-three-year-old Robert Burke, of Dubuque, pleaded guilty to one count of producing child pornography in August in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids.

The Telegraph Herald in Dubuque says Wednesday that Burke’s sentencing is set for Nov. 21 in Cedar Rapids. He faces 15 to 30 years in prison.

Burke, a former principal at Sageville Elementary School, admitted he hid video cameras to tape students from January until his arrest June.
