Expressions of interest sought to manage and operate La Crosse Center

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — City officials are exploring the idea of a public-private partnership to manage the La Crosse Center.

The La Crosse Center’s $42 million  renovation provided opportunities to explore different operation methods, officials say.

On Wednesday, the city posted a Request for Expressions of Interest to manage and operate the La Crosse Center complex. City officials will examine formulating a public-private partnership with a private management team. The process is meant to identify interested and qualified contractors.

Responses must be received by 5 p.m. May 25.
